Share a Smile is a dental centre based in Romford in Essex. We offer
dentistry of the highest possible quality, both to patients referred by
their dentists, and to the general public.
The centre is run by three dental specialists,
each an experienced dentist having undergone up to four years of additional
post-graduate education (beyond dental school) to gain a detailed scientific
background and to become expert practitioners in their chosen fields.
These three specialisms are summarised as follows:
Prosthodontist
A prosthodontist deals with the restoration and replacement of broken, decayed,
worn, and missing teeth with attractive and functional restorations such
as crowns, bridges, dentures and dental implants.
Periodontist
Periodontics is the treatment of diseases of the gums and bone surrounding
the teeth.

Orthodontist
Orthodontics is the straightening of crooked teeth using either fixed or
removable braces, both in children and adults.
It is the combination of these dental disciplines that makes the Share a
Smile centre unique. In addition, our team is strengthened by two Associate
Dentists, visiting anaesthetists, and nine supporting team members.
Each of our dental specialists is registered with the General Dental Council
and are members of the British
Dental Association* which is the professional association for dentists
in the UK.
