Feb 2007 - asymmetry treated
with bonding and porcelain crown and bridge
This lady requested that the asymmetry of her front teeth should be corrected,
and the unsightly exposed margins on her crowns and bridge improved. She
insisted that her smile should appear natural, and suit her age, rather
than the popular “Hollywood Smile”.
The central incisors were corrected by bonding composite to the left tooth,
and fitting a new crown on the right one. The failing bridge in the upper
left was replaced with a new one. Note how our ceramist managed to reproduce
the tiny cracks, discolorations and translucencies of her natural teeth
in the new porcelain.
