Jan 2007 - smile makeover with
bleaching, gum transplant, veneers, and a porcelain bridge
This gentleman requested the improvement of the appearance of his smile.
His main complaint was the fractured upper left lateral incisor, and the
recession of the gum on his upper left canine tooth.
The first phase of this complex treatment was to extract the fractured tooth,
and to transplant a small piece of gum from his palate to the upper left
canine tooth. While this healed, his teeth were bleached, and the gap between
the front teeth closed by bonding composite resin to the teeth.

Veneers were fitted on the upper right canine and first premolar to align
their outer surfaces, and an all-ceramic crown on the upper right lateral
incisor to eliminate the dark line caused by metal in the crown. The missing
lower back teeth were replaced with implant-supported crowns, and an all-ceramic
bridge fitted on the upper left canine to complete a beautiful harmonious
smile.
