February 2009 - discoloured and cracked veneers replaced and gum recessions corrected with a gum transplant.

This 47 year old female patient had sensitive teeth and was unhappy about the appearance of her smile. She needed treatment to rectify the discoloured margins of her old, cracked veneers.

She decided to have new veneers applied and the significant recessions corrected with a gum transplant.

Our approach
We collected a small piece of gum from the roof of her mouth and transplanted it to the area of recessions. Six weeks later the gums were completely healed.

We provided new veneers on her upper front teeth.
